John Kennedy
Head Golf Professional/Club Manager
John Kennedy brings years of experience in the private golf club industry to The Houstonian Golf & Country Club. Kennedy graduated from Southern Methodist University, and previously served as Head Golf Professional at Sweetwater Country Club before joining Shadow Hawk Golf Club as First Assistant Golf Professional under Paul Marchand. Kennedy joined The Houstonian Golf & Country Club in March of 2002 and brings a passion to teaching, talking, playing and sharing the game of golf with club members and their guests.
Sean Mack
Assistant Golf Professional
Sean joined the golf staff in 2007 after most recently serving as the General Manager of Southwyck Golf Club in the Houston area. His prior posts include two head Professional positions, one at Tour 18 in Humble and the other at Heritage Harbour Golf Club in Annapolis, Maryland. Sean holds a degree in Professional Cooking and Restaurant Management from the Baltimore International Culinary College. Soon after beginning his career in the culinary world, Sean fell in love with the game of golf and turned professional in 1995 and has never looked back.
Peter Campbell
Assistant Golf Professional
Peter joined the team in August 2008 after relocating from St. Combs, Scotland. He completed his golf training through the PGA in Britain and worked in Inverness, Scotland for six years prior to his move to the States. Peter grew up playing the game of golf in Scotland from an early age and continues to have a love for the game. Teaching has become a strong passion of his and he looks forward to developing as a member of the staff at The Houstonian.
Justin Lenamon
Assistant Golf Professional
Justin joined the team in September 2008. Prior to pursuing golf as a career, Justin was a school teacher and coach at First Baptist Academy in Houston. Justin earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Mary-Hardin where he was a member of the Crusader golf team. Justin brings with him an enthusiastic approach to golf and is eager to share his love for the game with members and guests of The Houstonian.
